Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) embarked on its journey in 1982, pioneering fertilizer manufacturing and marketing operations. It stands as one of the world’s preeminent single-stream ammonia-urea fertilizer complexes, bearing the mantle of leadership in the industry. Under the banner “NARMADA,” GNFC manufactures and distributes a range of fertilizers, including Urea and Ammonium Nitrophosphate.

The company boasts the credit of housing one of the largest Ammonia plants globally, utilizing fuel oil based technology, alongside the world’s largest single stream Urea plant. GNFC’s ambit extends beyond fertilizers, venturing into core chemical and petrochemical domains. Its plants churn out essential industrial chemicals such as Menthol, Formic Acid, Nitric Acid, and Acetic Acid, catering to a diverse clientele spanning India and international markets. Notably, Methanol and Formic Acid find regular exportation to global markets.

Akshar Management Consultant has been an integral part of GNFC’s journey since 2014, serving as an ISO Trainer for the Bharuch unit and extending its consultancy services to the Dahej Unit. In recent months, Akshar Management has spearheaded efforts to implement ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 at the Dahej unit, culminating in the attainment of the coveted IMS Certificate to GNFC

As part of this project, Core Team Members underwent rigorous ISO awareness and training programs, eventually earning certification as Internal Auditors. To deepen their understanding of the standards and assess their proficiency, all training sessions incorporated online examination processes. Furthermore, Akshar Management has provided comprehensive consultancy and training on the latest iteration of ISO 50001:2018, also referred to as the Energy Management System.

The attainment of the IMS Certificate to GNFC stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts and dedication of all stakeholders involved, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to excellence and continual improvement.
