Integrated Management System Awareness Training @ GNFC Ltd, Dahej

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (know as GNFC Ltd) is one of leading Public Sector Company of Govt. of Gujarat based at Bharuch. GNFC has been started since 1974 at Bharuch with their fertilizer production i.e. Ammonia & Urea. Subsequent to journey of success and expended their product portfolio includes Weak Nitric Acid, Concentrated Nitric Acid, Acetic Acid, Formic Acid, Di Ammonium Phosphate, Ammonium Nitrate, Ammonium Nitro Phospate, Methonol, Aniline & Toluene Di Isocyanate (TDI). GNFC Bharuch has been certified for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 by TUV Nord.

GNFC has started TDI Unit-2 at Dahej location and commissioned since 2014 and about 70% of quantity is being exported and recorded ever highest profit recently.

Aarti Industries Ltd based at Dahej manufacturing Methyl Ethyl Aniline (MEA) and started commissioning in 2016 onward. Aarti Industries Limited is a leading manufacturer of Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals. Chemicals manufactured by Aarti are used in the downstream manufacture of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, additives, surfactants, pigments, dyes, etc.

IMS Documentation Training @ Aarti Industries Ltd, Dahej

Akshar Manaagement Consultant has been selected once again by Aarti Industries Ltd for their Dahej plant IMS Certification. Akshar Management Consultant has completed 3 project of Aarti Industries Ltd prior to this assignment.

  • Unit-1 of Jaghadia Plant
  • Vapi Plant
  • Unit-2 of Jaghadia Plant

We completed gap assessment through review of existing system for quality, environment and safety and core team has been setup for implementation of IMS documentation.

IMS Documentation Training has been delivered to the core team for preparation of documentation and subsequent implementation. It is expected that IMS certification audit will be completed by September 2017 for Dahej site.

Hindalco Industries Ltd (Birla Copper Unit) @ Dahej – Certified for ISO 50001:2011 by Intertek

Hindalco Industries Limited, through Birla Copper, has set up a mega Greenfield Copper Smelting and Refining complex at Dahej in Bharuch district of Gujarat, INDIA. The plant with an investment of Rs. 25,000 in Millions, Produces world class copper cathodes, continuous cast copper Rods & Precious Metals. Apart from Copper products, Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Di-Ammonium Phosphate and other Phosphatic Fertilizers are also produced. The plant has its own Power Plant and Jetty to meet its infrastructure requirement.

Akshar Management Consultant has provided services for ISO Certification Consultancy. The team was leaded by Mr. Madhukar Vasa who has extensive experience of identifying energy saving opportunities.

The assignment started with gap audit for EnMS (ISO 50001:2011) and subsequently formation of energy team, energy policy and ISO awareness training. Akshar Management Consultant has identified energy saving opportunity from various operational control losses and some are relevant to investment with energy efficient equipment.

Team headed with Mr. Vasa comleted this assignment in just 3 months including internal auditor training (ISO Training).

Birla Copper unit has been audited Intertek and certified.
